Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Sberbank of Russia
Bella Zlatkis was graduated from the Moscow Financial Institute; she has a PhD in Economics, and was awarded the title of Honored Economist of the Russian Federation. She worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic from 1970; from 1991 to 1993 she headed the Government Securities and Financial Market Department at the Ministry of Economics and Finance and was a member the Ministry of Finance Collegium from 1992. From 1993 to 1998 Mrs. Zlatkis headed the Securities and Financial Market Department. From 1998 to 2000 she headed the Internal State Debt Department of the Ministry of Finance. In August 2000 she was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation. Since 2006 she fills the role of Deputy Chairperson of the MICEX Stock Exchange Board of Directors. She has been bestowed with several state awards, honorary diplomas, and was granted Unit Citation by the Russian Federation President. She joined Sberbank in 2004.
