Aide to the President of the Russian Federation

Born on October 29, 1963, in Ufa. In 1986 graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in Economics. In 1991–1992 – Chief Specialist in the Directorate of the Managing Committee of the Soviet Union Scientific-Industrial Union on Issues of Economic Reform, Moscow. In 1992–1994 – chief specialist and consultant for the Directorate of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on Issues of Economic Policy. In 1994 – advisor at the Expert Institute of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. In 1994–1995 – Deputy Head of the Department for Economic Reform, Head of the Department for State Regulation of Economy of the Russian Ministry of Economy. In 1995–1996 – Deputy Head of the Department for Economic Reform of the Russian Ministry of Economy and in 1996–1997 – Head of the this department and member of the Ministry’s Board. In 1997-1998 – Deputy Minister of Economy. In 1998–1999 – Deputy Chairman of the Promtorgbank Board. In 1999 – Executive Director of the Eurasian Ratings Service. In 1999–2000 – Vice President of the Centre for Strategic Research. In 2000–2003 – First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade. In 2003–2005 – President of the Centre for Strategic Research. From October 2005 – Head of the Expert Council of the Organising Committee for Preparing for Russia’s Presidency of the G8 in 2006. On September 24, 2007 was appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade. On May 12, 2008 was appointed Minister of Economic Development. Since May 21, 2012 – Aide to the President of the Russian Federation.
