President, Svyaznoy Group
Maxim Nogotkov established Maxus in 1995, which was later reorganized into Svyaznoy Group of companies in 2004. The group is the largest independent cell phone retailer in Russia.
In 2010, Mr Nogotkov launched Svyaznoy Bank, the first project in Russia’s financial market to successfully utilize a wide infrastructure of cell phone retailers for the bank’s distribution systems. In the same year, he opened a chain of Pandora boutiques, an international jewelry company operating within the popular market segment of affordable luxury products.
In 2011, he started another retail project – a company that combines online and traditional trade channels to provide better service for its customers.
Mr Nogotkov studied in Moscow State Technical University in 1995 and attended MIRBIS Business School in 1997-99. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2010.
