Deputy Director of the Gas Projects Department, NK Rosneft
Nikolai Eliseev has worked as Gas Project Development Director for Rosneft since March 2012.
Prior to taking his current position, Mr Eliseev worked for Sibneft (and later Gazprom Neft) from 2002 to 2012 as Head of the Gas and Gas Refining Department. Under his leadership, the company commissioned its own generation facilities with total capacity of over 130 MW, formed a new business model based on the extraction and sale of over 5 bcmpy of natural gas (over 400 end customers in nine Russian regions) and realized a joint project connected to the Kyoto Protocol, the company being the first VIOC to receive compensation for implementing emission reduction units (ERU). Prior to this position, Mr Eliseev was Head Engineer and then Head Specialist at Mostransgas (in the structures of Gazprom). In 2000, he joined the Russian presidential administration’s production supply enterprise as Head Specialist. Mr Eliseev began his career in 1997 as Deputy General Director at the National Investment Industrial Center.
He graduated from the International Independent Ecological-Political University with a degree in Law. In 2012, he earned a master’s degree in Oil and Gas from Tyumen State Oil and Gas University. Mr Eliseev also completed the Business Leader program at Skolkovo Moscow School of Management.
