First Deputy CEO, UC RUSAL
Vladislav Soloviev was appointed as UC RUSAL’s First Deputy CEO in April 2010. He is responsible for the company’s operational management, while also focusing on increasing the company’s business efficiency and improving production and financial performance.
Prior to taking his current position, Mr Soloviev was CEO of En+ from 2008 to 2010. Between February 2001 and January 2008, he was Head of UC RUSAL’s Finance Directorate. Between 2000 and 2001, he was Director of UC RUSAL’s Accounting Department. From 1998 to 2000, Mr Soloviev held the position of Deputy Director of the Tax Policy Department and worked as an advisor to the Tax Minister of the Russian Federation. From 1994 to 1998, he held various executive positions at UNICON/MC Consulting and was responsible for auditing oil and gas companies.
Mr Soloviev serves on the BoD of En+ Group and was previously Chairman of RussNeft’s BoD for three years.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State Academy of Management and later received a degree from Stankin Moscow Technical University. He also graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation and earned an MBA degree from Antwerp University in Belgium.
